Where do I even begin when it comes to describing the incredible wedding day of Alyx and Connor? From the moment we first connected over Zoom, they made it clear that their main goal was to throw an unforgettable party and capture candid moments along the way. I was beyond excited to be chosen as their photographer and join in on the excitement!

Their chosen venue, Mt Hood Ski Bowl, perfectly suited their adventurous spirits. The ceremony took place at the mountaintop, with the majestic Mt Hood as their stunning backdrop. They infused their own personal touches into the ceremony, like creating a time capsule together and capturing a Polaroid photo of each guest to include in it. And let’s not forget the flowers! Wildflower Portland crafted breathtaking floral arrangements using local blooms, and I couldn’t get enough of photographing their beauty.

What made their ceremony location even more special was the unique access required to reach it. Guests rode a ski lift up to the top and slid down to the bottom—an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. The reception space was adorned with twinkling lights, creating a magical ambiance where heartfelt speeches touched everyone’s hearts. Laughter filled the air, and tears of joy were shed throughout the evening.

However, the true highlight of their wedding was the club DJ they hired, who undoubtedly created the most epic dance party! The energy was contagious, and everyone hit the dance floor, showcasing their best moves. It was clear that nobody wanted the night to end, as the celebration continued well into the evening.
